Project overview
Due to the stigma surrounding drug use, pertinent information regarding harm deduction does not reach users. Socioeconomically disadvantaged communities are made especially susceptible to substance misuse issues. Barriers to education on the safe and proper use of medications also create tangible public health and safety concerns. PillSafe aims to provide users with valuable resources, encouraging safe use to prevent medication related harm.
PillSafe is a safe use resource and mobile application that aims to reach users through a safe easy-to-approach design and user experience.
Primary Task
Understand the potential effects of consuming new or unfamiliar substances or medications.
Target User
Individuals who are susceptible to substance use/ misuse and individuals who take medication.
